The error printed out into the logs suggests that the event your are trying to start has no sessions configured. When editing your event have a look at the “Sessions” section as below:
In this section at least one of the sessions must have the “Enabled” switch turned on, in the above example the Practice session is enabled. Try enabling one of the sessions and then saving and starting your event again.
