Server Manager + Discord results + access results from outside my network

Hey everyone, me again  I setup server manager to send results to Discord. Works great. My issue is that I’d like to make these results accessible by my friend from his home after the race.
I setup the config.yml with hostname like this:
hostname: 0.0.0.0:8773
For the base_url, I put my my public IP there, like this:
base_url: http://[my-public-ip]:8773

I also clicked on the “public access” in the Manager/Accounts settings, and forwarded port 8773 to my racing computer’s local IP in my router.

It now sends results in Discord with my public IP link like this:
http://[my-public-ip]:8773/server/0/result/2025-10-18_12-50-51_RACE
But it won’t show it! I get a “This site can’t be reached” in Chrome.

What am I doing wrong? Thx!!!

If I change the base_url to 123.0.0.1:8773 then it works for me and I can see the results page, but my friends outside of my network cannot. Please help thx!!!

Hi,

I believe this was covered and solved on our Discord and ended up being a port forwarding issue, as well as not being able to access the Manager on the host machine using the remote URL (this is common on a lot of networking setups, you’ll need to use localhost on the local machine).

Please let us know if anything else is required here!

Thanks
