When switching servers just have it go to the home page of the selected server. There are several pages where it simply wont change servers as the link is invalid on the other server.

We believe that in a lot of cases being able to switch to the same page is a useful feature, but I agree that rather than refusing to switch from certain pages (results pages come to mind) it should switch to the home page instead.
We’ll look to make that change, thanks for the suggestion.
